Description
The Stander LG is a nod to Wright's original large frame fixed-deck Stander from the late 90s, rebuilt for the demands of modern commercial use. The philosophy is the same: fewer moving parts, less to go wrong, more time mowing.
Under the hood it runs either a 27 HP carbureted Kawasaki or a 34.5 HP EFI model depending on how much power your operation needs. Both are paired with Hydro-Gear ZT-4400 transaxles, the same units found in Wright's heavier ZXL rider. That's not an entry-level drivetrain. You get serious torque, smooth control, and a transmission that holds up to full commercial daily use without flinching.
The 11-gallon fuel tank is mounted centrally under the platform, which drops the center of gravity and keeps the machine balanced on hills. The flat-back Aero-Core deck leaves a clean, professional finish on every pass. Large 24" rear tires reduce turf impact and improve traction across uneven ground. Oversized caster yokes with sealed bearings handle the beating that heavy daily use puts on a machine.
Maintenance is straightforward by design. The "C" mounting setup makes transmission swaps easier, the electrical system runs on a single relay, and access to belts, filters, and hydro components is built into the layout. If your crew is running these machines hard every day, the LG is built to keep up.
