Our popular hibiscus herb is tolerant of heat and humidity as well as attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. The calyces can be used to make a popular tea that contains vitamin C and minerals. Also, this herb has traditionally been used medicinally. Dried hibiscus is edible; can be candied and used as a garnish.
